Darth Vader used this
prototype as the basis
for the terrifyingly
effective TIE interceptor
in the Battle of Yavin.
Unlike all other TIE
fighters this prototype
has a deflector shield
generator and a simple
hyperdrive. Vader's TIE
Advanced is armed with
heavy twin blaster cannon
on fixed mounts but has
no life support systems.
The TIE Advanced is
characterised by a hull
made of duralloy steel,
an extended after deck
and unique solar cell
wings. The Tie Advanced
quickly became one of
Darth Vader's favourite
ships. Like all the TIE
ships the prototype has a
drive system consisting
of twin ion engines. Its
solar ionization reactor
is reputed to be much
more powerful than that
of the standard TIE
fighters. The TIE
Advanced has proved
itself in battle, as it
is capable of
withstanding many direct
hits. In addition the
pilots' chances of
survival were
considerably enhanced by
the incorporation of a
hyperdrive system, which
enables the ship to
escape from hopeless

The Millenium Falcon
began life as a typical
Corellian Engineering
Corporation YT-1300 stock
light freighter an
unspecified number of
years ago. A legendary
starship regardless of
its humble origins and
deceptively rundown
exterior, the Millennium
Falcon has factored into
some of the Rebel
Alliance's greatest
successes over the
Empire. On the surface,
the Millenium Falcon
looks like any other
Corellian freighter,
with a saucer-shaped
primary hull, a pair of
forward cargo-gripping
mandibles, and a
cylindrical cockpit
mounted to the ship's
side. A craft employed in
the shady fringe business
of smuggling, the Falcon
was owned by Lando
Calrissian before Solo
won it in a heated sabacc
game. Under Solo's
command, the Falcon
became a renowned
starship, completing the
Kessel Run at
extraordinary speeds.
Solo and his first mate
Chewbacca maintained the
Falcon, constantly
transforming and
tinkering with it,
coaxing the maximum speed
from the ship.

Starfighter is an unusual
type of light interceptor
starfighter. Miniature
wedge-shaped one-man
starfighters, these
vessels were used by the
Jedi order in the
weakening days of the
Galactic Republic. While
the ship does employ
weapons, most Jedi
pilots preferred to rely
on their craftiness and
attunement to the Force
to avoid disputes and
violence. Though the
wedge-shaped starfighter
design was still in use
by war's end, a newer
model had earned the
spotlight for its use by
renowned Jedi heroes,
Anakin Skywalker and
Obi-Wan Kenobi. Skywalker
constantly tinkered with
his starfighter,
modifying its systems to
optimize performance.
Based on his innovations,
Kuat Systems Engineering
revisited the starfighter
design and developed a
bold and radical
follow-up to the Delta-7
with its Eta-2 Actis
interceptor. it is a very
advanced high-performance
craft that devotes most
of its system resources
to pure speed and power.

The Revell V-19 Torrent
Starfighter Clone Wars
from the plastic Star
Wars model range
accurately recreates the
fighter spacecraft from
the Star Wars motion
picture series. This
plastic Star Wars kit
does not requires neither
paint or glue to
complete. The single-seat
V-19 Torrent starfighter
first proved its
outstanding capability as
a combat fighter at the
Battle of Geonosis where
it impressed on account
of its considerable
manoeuvrability, high
versatility and speed in
normal space. Asa result
of its successes in
battle, the V-19 was
quickly produced in
larger quantities, so
that it could be added to
the Republican army's
arsenal as quickly as
possible. Since it takes
months to train the
pilots of the Republican
Gunships to fly the V-19,
at the start of the
Clone Wars only a small
number were initially
deployed. For escort
missions the prototype is
subsequently given a
single hyperdrive so that
its deployment spectrum
is no longer restricted
to individual planets and
sun systems. Its maximum
speed is a remarkable
20.000 kilometres in a
planetary stratosphere.

The Revell Star Wars
ARC-170 Clone Fighter is
a plastic Star Wars model
kit accurately recreating
the Clone Fighter from
the Star Wars motion
picture series. In
support of Anakin and
Obi-Wan in the Battle of
Coruscant, the two Jedi
are escorted by a
squadron of ARC-170
fighters (aggressive
reconnaissance fighters).
Absolutely loyal to the
Republic, the clone
pilots have the mission
of diverting the Trade
Federations fighters and
clearing the way for the
Jedi. With the inbred
obedience that they
received in the Kaminoan
breeding station, these
brave fighters
voluntarily sacrifice
themselves, so that the
Jedi can fulfill their
mission. However, the
clone pilots also have
access to the skills of
the bounty hunter Jango
Fett and place themselves
in the path of the enemy
undaunted by death. The
reconnaissance fighter
has a class 1.5
hyperdrive and carries
torpedoes and laser
cannons. It is therefore
less manoeuvrable than
the Jedi Starfighter and
the fate of the ARC-170
is decided solely by the
know-how of the three-man

Tri-Fighter Easykit
(R06652)The tri-fighter
acquires its name from
the triple support arms
that protect its main
cannons, and it gets
these arms from the skull
shape of a killer,
native to the world of
its designers. The
Colicoid Creation Nest,
the same cannibalistic
designers responsible for
the deadly droidekas,
designed the tri-fighter.
Also contributing to its
name is the group of
triple independent
thrusters that afford it
its agility. The
tri-fighter brain is more
complex than that of the
vulture droid
starfighter. Its robust
power plant and superior
communication transceiver
give a tri-fighter
amazing operating range
for a non-hyperdrive
equipped automated
starfighter. The fully
automated tri-fighter is
bigger and less
maneuverable than the
slim vulture fighters,
but nevertheless posed a
threat, particularly to
the slower ARC-170
fighters. During
development, the
tri-fighter was also
called the tri-droid.
That name phased out,
and was eventually used
to describe the tripodal
assault droids seen on
