another, I have spent a
lot of time in New York
City and on one
particular occasion I was
in a nightclub, very
late and very worse for
wear! I sat down to find
a fish tank beside me and
inside the tank was a

tropical fish, looking
at me head on. In a flash
it turned away and
transformed from a golden
sliver to a bright golden
disc and it ‘gave’ me
its shape. One of those
moments…

tray for a long while
now, it's something I
personally use quite a
lot in my house! This one
goes with my Fairground
series of mugs, tea
towels and aprons. It's
inspired by vintage
graphics and imagery from
funfairs past and
present. Many happy days
were spent in the
