A glass wall clock with
printing of part of the
city center of Jerusalem
map. The clock hands are
located at a square
called Talita kumi
square, at the corner of
Ben Yehuda and King
George streets. The
origin of the name,
translated from Aramaic
to Hebrew is literally:
Wake up little girl,
lies in the New Testament
story. The story
describes a miracle done
by Jesus, which caused a
little girl - the
daughter of Yair Galili,
to wake up and walk after
being ill and in a
coma. In the past there
was a magnificent
building in this area,
which served as girls
orphanage and was
decorated with arches in
front, a sign bearing
the name Talita, kumi,
and a big clock. The
building was demolished
over the years, but its
front with the clock
remained still. The
square is popular in the
city today as a meeting
place for the young
people. It is made of
glass.

found on South Beach,
Aberystwyth, West Wales.
The wood has been finely
sanded and finished with
danish oil to bring out
the grain resulting in a
beautiful, smooth and
natural
