these bangles in 2mm
thick bronze and copper
wire, hammer for texture
then make a nail head
rivet in fine silver and
rivet the bangle
together. The rivet is
then sanded to be smooth

This unique cuff bracelet
is extremely eye catching
with its beautiful bright
colours and pretty dainty
butterflies. The original

has a somewhat vintage
style to it as the patina
shows through quite a lot
of the brass beneath it.
The cuff is 1.5 inches
wide (approx 38mm) and 6
inches in length (approx
152mm). It has an opening
of around 1.5 inches
(approx 38mm) which can
be easily adjusted to fit
most wrist sizes by
simply bending the piece
slightly once you have
slid it onto your wrist.
The patina that I have
used for this piece is
slightly translucent,
showing some of the
lovely brass through.
Wear over time can be
expected, which only
adds to the pieces
character. It has also
been sealed to protect
the image, although I
would not advise getting
it wet! Please be aware
that this picture is an

because of the way that

these bangles, I can
hammer away to my hearts
content and they look
lovely when they're done.
But even though just on
their own they are shiny
and lovely, I can't help
myself an I have to add a
flourish - this one has a
heart - in fact it has
two hearts; one made of
sterling silver and
soldered onto the bangle
itself and the other, a
dark red Swarovski
crystal element heart,
hung from a sterling
silver chain. A sweet,
heart bracelet, for a
sweetheart. It fits my
wrist well which is
around 6.5 inches but
could fit a slightly
larger wrist too.
