This unique lampwork
pendant was made and
designed by me, using my
own handmade lampwork
glass bead. This
charming bead, has a
clear glass background
swirled and dotted with
silver glass, which has
turned to irridescent
shades of turquoise and
silver in the heat of the

head pin and beads. The
bead itself is about
0.70in(17mm)wide by

Choker Collar necklace
with silver heart and
iolite gemstone set in
jasper stone necklace I
made this choker necklace
using a handmade silver
heart forged from silver
polymer metal clay (which
is 99% silver embedded in
clay and used to form
clay charms, etc by kiln
firing the clay form). I
then set an oval cut
iolite gemstone which is
around 0.4 cts into the
heart. Iolite was used
by the Vikings as a
navigational tool, as it
polarises light. In fact,
this polarisation gives
iolite one of its special
properties, pleochroism
which means that it can
look different colours
under different lights,
i..e shades of violet and
blue. To enhance this
property, i set the
stone so that it slightly
sticks out of the silver
heart to allow
potentially light to pass
through it. The silver
heart itself is attached
to a handmade necklace,
created using sterling
silver wrapped rhodonite
stones. Rhodonite is
meant to vibrate with
love and relaxation. The
stone is meant to ward of
negativity and revitalise
self worth. The choker
necklace is finished
using sterling silver
oval hammered links and
