Over many years having experimented with old Chilean & Spanish vines of different varieties in order to produce this wine. Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenere, Tempranillo & Monastrell form the basis of the wine, which is aged for 24 months in new Nevers oak barrels. Beautiful pale cherry colour. Exquisite, fresh tasting wine with notes of fruit (raspberry & cranberry) & flowers (violets). Voluptuous on the palate with fine acidity, fruit notes appear that combine with the wine's pleasant texture. Excellent as an aperitif & the perfect accompaniment for pasta with meat or tomato sauces & certain vegetables. Sublime with oriental food. Serve at 8-10deg C. 92/100 Points Wine Spectator Magazine, May 2010 (USA) 2004 Vintage. 92/100 Points Wine Advocate Magazine (USA) 2001 Vintage. 90/100 Points Wine Enthusiast Magazine (USA) 2000 Vintage.
