Every morning, in the Valley of Maule, the Andes Mountain sun rises initiating the ritual union of land & vine. These dry vineyards situated in the coastal inland of the Pacific ' Cordillera' enjoy a warm climate ideal for the Syrah variety, producing wines with fruity intensity & marked personality. Intense dark cherry colour. Expressive aromas with notes of torrefaction & redcurrant jam as well as touches of tobacco, juniper, & lactic overtones. On the palate it is characterized by its fullness: robust tannins, retro-nasal aromas of licorice & spices with a long & elegant finish. Ideal with small game dressed with sweet sauces such as those of autumnal red fruits. Sublime with meaty, textured fish cooked on a grill such as tuna in soy sauce.
