    This eco-friendly
    wallpaper is hand-printed
    and -toned using natural
    paints and paper. Our
    paste the wall wallpapers
    are easy to install.
    Material: non-woven
    paper (easy-up); Pattern
    height is about 50 cm
    (20''); Screen-printed
    by hand; Background
    manually toned with
    casein paint; Design
    Studio MUNAs wallpapers
    carry original patterns
    which make a good
    addition to Your
    interiour. Our wallpapers
    can be used to create
    character to Your room,
    for example by adding a
    few panes of wallpaper,
    or completely
    re-decorating the whole
    room. We combine Northern
    European design language
    with ancient printing
    technique, thus creating
    a product that is both
    traditional and yet
    modern at the same time.
    We use non-toxic water
    based inks for printing,
    onto high quality
    non-woven paper. The
    wallpaper can be applied
    with a simple
    paste-to-wall technique.
    Wallpaper base is toned
    using natural casein
    paint. Designers
    comment about wallpaper
    Girl with birds: The
    catchword for “The girl
    and birds” would be
    carelessness and balance.
    The motive was born in
    Sicilia where I was
    illustrating Italian
    aphorisms. I was inspired
    by a thought which when
    translated would sound
    like this: “Only lovers
    and poets know the secret
    how to trust the wind
    with Your emotions, and
    get on with Your life”
    (originally: “Solo gli
    amanti e i poeti
    conoscono il segreto per
    affidare al vento le loro
    emozioni affinché
    sopravvivano alla loro
    vita”). For me it means
    inner balance and the
    knowledge that whatever
    comes will be good for
    me. This wallpaper is
    created with a very much
    positive emotion. And I
    do enjoy the fact that
    the repetition of the
    pattern creates new
    patterns in turn. From
    afar it looks as if a
    decorative surface. Upon
    taking a closer look,
    details become to matter.
