Royal Mail Pillar Box Pin Badge - GVIR Type B

Details: A beautifully detailed, long lasting, handmade pewter pin badge of the GVIR Type B pillar box, at a scale of 1:60. With a secure 'clutch and pin' fastening, this pin badge is perfect for attaching to your hat or lapels. History: From 1937 pillar boxes bearing the royal cipher of George VI were produced following his accession to the throne. The smaller Type B boxes, were manufactured by both Carron Co and Lion Foundry. The George VI cipher appears in cursive script including the Roman numeral VI. Ideal for: A wonderful gift and collectable item, for those over the age of 14 years. Measures: 2.5cm
