Royal Mail Pillar Box Pin Badge - EVIIIR Type B

Details: A beautifully detailed, long lasting, handmade pewter pin badge of the EVIIIR Type B pillar box. With a secure 'clutch and pin' fastening, this pin badge is perfect for attaching to your hat or lapels. History: During the brief reign of Edward VIII, pillar boxes were made bearing his royal cipher. Of these, almost 150 survive today, most of them the small Type B box. In 1937, following his abdication, some Edward VIII boxes had their doors replaced by ones bearing George VI's cipher. Ideal for: A wonderful gift and collectable item, for those over the age of 14 years. Measures: 2.5cm
