Details: A beautiful, detailed, handmade pewter model of the GVR Type E Small Combination pillar box, at a scale of 1:19. History: The reign of George V saw a number of innovations in postal services, including the provision of oval pillar boxes incorporating stamp vending machines. In 1932, 75 large & 50 small such boxes were made. This Type E pillar box features the posting aperture at one end & an arrow pointing to the stamp machine at the other. Only eight of the Type E boxes survive today! Ideal for: A wonderful collectable item, for those over the age of 14 years. Measures: 10cm
