Details: A beautiful, detailed, handmade pewter model of the EIIR Type A pillar box, at a scale of 1:19. History: There have been many changes to EIIR pillar boxes since they were introduced in 1952. This model is of the traditional cast iron cylindrical version. From 1957 the posting aperture was enlarged from 8" to 10", and from 1958 the flat aperture was made more jutting to keep out the rain. Ideal for: A wonderful collectable item, for those over the age of 14 years. Measures: 8cm
