The Stuart No.8 shares many common parts with the Stuart 7A, it is a relatively simple engine to build requiring only a 3 1/2 in. lathe. This model is supplied as a complete set of castings, materials, fixings & drawings. In general full sized horizontal engines were not arranged to reverse, this is why we do not offer reverse gears for our horizontal engines.
