The Ardbeg Very Young is the first release of spirit produced at the distillery after the Glenmorangie takeover in 1997. This was produced in 1998 & bottled in 2004 at cask strength. Its the first part in the Young series & now very collectable & rare. Nose: Very peaty & spicy. Notes of cut hay, fresh herbs, smoke, kippers. Hints of the coast, lime juice, coal tar. Ardmore 25 Year Old Whisky

A cask strength 25 year old whisky from Ardmore, this is certainly sure to be a crowd pleaser and it also offers plenty of peatiness, which makes this more like a traditional aged Speyside malt as we know it. Nose: Peaty, hay, green apples, salty Palate: a little waxy, salty, sort of like vanilla fudge. a small bit of fire and heat in there too Finish: long lasting vanilla, still very waxy, kind of lingers for a while, lovely for a little treat.
