Which Patch Do I need ?
If you smoke 20 or
more cigarettes a day
start with Step 1, the
large size Nicotinell
TTS30 (21mg / 24 hour)
patches. If you
smoke less than this
start with Step 2, the
medium size Nicotinell
TTS20 (14mg / 24 hour)
patches. Do not
start with Step 3,
Nicotinell 7mg / 24 hour)
patches; they should only
be used to complete the
treatment. Read
enclosed instructions
carefully before using
Nicotinell patches.
When you apply the patch,
nicotine passes through
your skin and into the
body, replacing the
nicotine you would
normally get from
smoking. The patches
come in three sizes. As
your body adjusts to not
smoking you should
gradually reduce the
strength of the patch
over a period of up to 12
weeks until you no longer
need to use them.
Instructions for use :
Adults: apply one patch
at the same time each day
preferably first thing in
the morning) to a clean,
dry and hairless area of
the skin. Recommended
the front or side of the
chest, the back or the
upper arm. Leave the
patches on for 24 hours,
then remove and dispose
of before applying the
next patch. Other
ingredients are: Medium
