A rose wine, made from a combination of two traditional grape varieties: Garnacha & Carinena. 40 years have passed since we first made this wine with its own unique personality. It was Miguel Torres Carbo who, striving to make a strongly coloured rose with fruity aromas, experimented with the Garnacha Tinta & Carinena grape varietals, achieving a rose that stood out from the rest & has continued to do so down through the years. This wine is characterised by its freshness & notes of red berries (redcurrant) accompanied by notes of apple & banana. On the palate it's very balanced & lush, with a long, persistent aftertaste. Perfect with traditional tapas & charcuterie, as well as vegetable dishes & pasta. Serve chilled (10deg C). ...

Since 1946 the Torres family has been making Floralis-Moscatel Oro, one of the Mediterranean's most characteristic dessert wines, nectar with an unmistakable floral perfume & a voluptuous & sensual palate. This sweet wine is made from one of the Mediterranean's most classical stocks. The Greeks called it Anathelicon Moschaton & the Romans Apianae, because it attracts the bees that, from the Muscat flowers, make the delicious nectar of their honey. Moscatel has an unmistakable aromatic perspective that is highly characteristic of its variety, with seductive floral perfumes (rose, geranium, lemon verbena). On the mouth it is voluptuous, concentrated yet light, full & with a delicate sensuality. Ideal as an aperitif or dessert wine. Serve at 8deg C ...

The best wines are achieved by listening to nature. Thats why more than twenty years ago, we chose the privileged surroundings of Fransola, a historical estate located in one of the highest areas of the Penedes, to plant one of our most highly renowned vineyards. Ice cold nights & mild days provide an excellent climate for growing vines, giving us the best Sauvignon Blanc & Parellada grapes with which we produce this elegant, balanced wine. Intense, complex aroma of exotic fruit (passion fruit & green fig), delicately ennobled by fine notes of toast & vanilla (from the ageing in new French oak). Good balance in the mouth thanks to the wines acidity, with floral notes that pleasantly linger mid-palate. Serve at 8-10deg C. Ideal with the very best fish & shellfish; also with light poultry dishes, asparagus, & lobster. Properly cellared this wine will improve over the next 3
- 5 years.

Cabernet Sauvignon & Tempranillo are the grapes that bestow their nobility on Gran Coronas, a wine of a deep red hue, with ochre & brick-red touches from its ageing. This arose from the innovative drive of Miguel A. Torres, who planted the French variety of Cabernet Sauvignon in the Penedes at the end of the 1960s & early 1970s, when normal practice was to plant local white varieties. Thanks to this, Gran Coronas has become a benchmark for reserva red wines. The rich, sensual aroma is typical of the grape varieties recalling small red & black berries (cherries & blackcurrants), green coffee beans, liquorice & the characteristic vanilla & leather notes from ageing. On the palate the wine is full & silky with dense, well-structured tannins. Perfect with cured meats, paellas & vegetable rice dishes, as well as meat & game recipes or when finishing off a meal with cheeses. Serve at 17deg C ...

The best Garnacha, Carinena & Syrah grapes that produce Gran Sangre de Toro are grown in a region famous since the times of the Roman Emperor Augustus for producing the finest Mediterranean wines. Towards the end of the 1960s, Miguel Torres Carbo decided to produce a wine with a well defined identity & a character of its own. Straight away we started experimenting with Garnacha Tinta (60%) & its usual partner, Carinena (25%). The years passed & eventually we also added Syrah (15%). Thus, ennobled by ageing in oak, this wine was born with its intense colour & its rich & fruity aroma. All the exuberant aroma traditionally found in an intense, ripe red wine, with a sensual background of fine spices in good balance with perfumed notes reminiscent of blackberries. Full, long finish on the palate. Ideal with game dishes, ragout & spicy meat dishes. Serve at 17deg C. ...

Gran Vina Sol was a pioneer in the production of cask-fermented Chardonnay in Spain. Its name is very apt as its a wine of greater complexity & presence than the traditional Vina Sol. Chardonnay & Parellada are harmoniously blended after careful fermentation of a percentage in Limousin oak barrels, thus retaining the character of each variety. The result is a magnificent, intense wine. Thanks to the presence of the Chardonnay, the wine is intensely aromatic & full-bodied, with a profusion of flowery notes over a fruity background (very ripe peaches) & a hint of fennel. On the palate the wine has a long aftertaste & is silky with an elegant fullness. A touch of vanilla in the finish is indicative of the wines short ageing in French oak. A wonderful accompaniment to fromage frais, salt & freshwater fish, seafood (particularly good with seafood paella), even chicken & turkey. ...
