The wine shows fresh raspberry & cranberry on the nose. The palate is fresh & lively, held together by a fine structure of natural acid & fine tannin balance. This wine is best served chilled, especially during the warmer months & is a great match for most food styles, particularly fresh seafood & contemporary Asian cuisine. All fruit was blended at the receival bin, destemmed & chilled to 5 degrees C. To achieve the desirable level of colour & flavour extraction the fruit was left on skins for 16 hours in the press. The free-run juice & light pressings were then cold settled, racked & fermented cool to express the clean fruit characters of both the Cabernet Sauvignon & the Malbec. Grape: 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Malbec.
