This wine is made in memory of Baron Philippe's second wife who was instrumental in the creation of Rothschild's Museum of Wine in Art. A blend of Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc & Muscadelle & partially aged in oak for eight months, this wine has honey & spice aromas with an oaky, beeswax & raisin finish. An attractive, deep & brilliant golden straw colour. The nose immediately displays aromas of white blossom, especially acacia, & honey. From a consistent & round attack, full of freshness, the mid-palate develops apricot, spice & honey flavours. A wine remarkable for its aromatic complexity & freshness.
