A precision integrated circuit with an output voltage that is linearly proportional to the Centigrade temperature. The advantage over the LM335Z is that it is not necessary to subtract a large constant voltage from the output to obtain the Centigrade scale. The chip does not require any external calibration to achieve accuracies of plusmn 410 deg C at room temperature & plusmn 810deg C over full temperature range. The device draws only 56micro A from voltage supplies in the range 4V to 30V so it has very low self-heating lt 0.1deg C in still air. The LM35DZ oerates in the range 0 C to 100 C.
