Product Description

1987 was a very good vintage in Rioja, particularly in the later-ripening Rioja Alta, where the Viña Tondonia vineyards are located. This winery creates a robust & slightly rustic style of wine, using unusually long periods of barrel ageing for reserva, sometimes up to 6 years in older oak casks. A great example of mature reserva to enjoy now.
