Viñalba Reserva Cabernet Malbec Petit Verdot 2010, Mendoza
A blend of 50% Cabernet with 40% Malbec & 10% Petit Verdot, all of which are grown in Lujan de Cuyo, both on the estates vines & other local vineyards. 60% of the wine undergoes 12 months in French oak barrels, before reblending with the unoaked wine. A dark & powerful Bordeaux-inspired blend, offering aromas of cassis, spice & mint. A rounded & juicy palate, full of forest fruits, with a long, toasty & spicy finish. Serve with the classic roasted leg of lamb.
