Never Summer Proto HDX 2014 Snowboard
New for 2013/14 is the Extended Transition Rocker Camber Profile which has been developed specifically for the Proto. The result is improved float and glide with effortless edge-to-edge transitions. The Blunted True-Twin Shape and new Low Profile Tip and Tail improve the freestyle capabilities of this board by increasing the effective edge and maximising base contact right to the tip and tail. The Proto HD and HDX are true all terrain boards that span park & pipe, Jib, freeride and big mountain. Note: the HDX is a wider version on the HD. The difference with the Extended Transition version is a longer transition area at the end of the effective edge to the nose and tail. This decreases the amount of pressure in that area allowing for free-flowing edge transfer whilst still providing solid edge hold when the camber is engaged. The durable, scratch and chip resistant Carbonium Topsheet gives the board a premium look to match its build quality. Not only will it look better for longer but it is grippier than a gloss topsheet due to its texture, so it acts as a built in topsheet too. Strategically placed Carbonium Laminate Technology in the top and

Taking the Custom Flightcore and making it even lighter, the NS Superlight Wood Core has been developed especially for the new Carbonium Series. Harmonic Tip/Tail Dampers reduce the amount of vibration at the nose and tail without affecting the liveliness and a pop of the cambered areas Designed specifically for the Carbonium Series, the CDS Dampening System provides unmatched stability and control at high speeds. Thin elastomeric rubber stringers reduce vibration from the edge and stringers below the inserts and Elastomeric Underfoot Stabilizers are placed directly below the mounting area in order to increase vibration absorption and high speed performance while also reducing
