The Vigor 2762 is an ADSL/VDSL2, Ethernet or 3G/4G router, thats ideal for your small office or home business/office. It provides connectivity to your PCs or other Internet-connected devices (laptops, tablets, games consoles, smartphones) via its 4 built-in Gigabit Ethernet ports, or using Wireless LAN (on n & ac models). The firewall helps protect your network from external threats, as well as the Vigor 2762s built-in Content Filtering which gives you control over what & when your local users can access or download. The Vigor 2762 series can alternatively connect to an Ethernet Internet connection, such as a cable/fiber modem (e.g. Virgin Media) instead of connecting to a ADSL/VDSL line. Compatible 3G & 4G (LTE) modems can also optionally be added to the USB (Universal Serial Bus) port to provide backup or main Internet connectivity without any fixed line. The Dray Tek Vigor 2762ac adds 802.11ac Dual-Band Wireless to your network, with up to 866 Mbps on the 5 G Hz 11ac b&, & up to 300 Mbps on the 2.4 G Hz b&, allowing devices access to the Internet from around the property. The Vigor 2762ac operates simultaneiously in both the 2.4 Ghz & less congested 5 Ghz band so your devices can connect to either, with Band Steering to ensure that each wireless device connecting is guided to its most suitable wireless b&. The Vigor 2762 Vac variant integrates a Vo IP ATA (Analogue Telephone Adapter), which provides two analogue phone ports to provide Vo IP integration via the Internet (Vo IP). You can connect 1 or 2 regular telephones, which can be used independently & simultaneously for both incoming & outgoing calls. An Ideal firewall router for Fibre Broadband Many broadband connections offered by ISPs are referred to as Fibre Broadb&, although technically in many cases theyre actually VDSL based connections which run over your phone line. The phone lines twisted pair telephone cable runs from the premise to a street cabinet (these are typically 4ft green boxes with a Openreach logo on) which contain a VDSL MSAN (multi-service access node) that connects to fibre infrastructure which runs to the local exchange & then on to the ISPs core network. The Vigor 2762s built-in DSL interface (WAN1) is ideal for connecting this type of VDSL based connection. Cable Modem & Ethernet WAN Compatible As well as being able to connect to ADSL/VDSL lines directly through the Vigor 2762s RJ11 DSL socket, the Vigor 2762 series can instead connect to Ethernet-fed Internet connections, such as that provided by cable modems (e.g. Virgin Media). When Ethernet WAN is enabled, LAN Port 4 switches to become your WAN port into which you can connect to your cable modem or other Ethernet feed. The other 3 Gigabit LAN ports (1-3) remain available for normal LAN connectivity. Note, you cannot have Ethernet WAN & ADSL/VDSL enabled at the same time; if Ethernet WAN is enabled, the ADSL/VDSL port is disabled (and vice versa). The photo on the right shows the Vigor 2762 connected to a fiber modem using the Ethernet WAN Port. IPv 6
- Next Generation Internet Routing The Vigor 2762 supports IPv 6
- the successor to the current IPv 4 addressing system that has been used since the Internet was first created. IPv 4 address space is full up & IPv 6 allows for much more efficient routing & a larger address space. IPv 6 is supported directly from your own ISP, but if your ISP does not (yet) support IPv 6, the Vigor 2762 also supports IPv 6 broker/tunnel services to provide IPv 6 access using either TSPC or AICCU via 3rd party IPv 6 providers. Key Features Integrated Vo IP Telephone Adapter (SIP ATA) 2 PSTN Telephone (FXS) ports Phone Book & Digit Map Call Barring (with schedule) Support for SRTP & ZRTP encryption The Vigor 2762 Vac features the same

Specification as the standard Vigor 2762 series router models, with the addition of two phone ports for Vo IP services Standard Analogue telephone handsets or DECT phone bases can be connected to the Phone 1/2 ports & each of the phones can then be used to make & receive calls using Vo IP services (over the Internet) as opposed to using your traditional landline. The two phone ports are independent so you can make two calls at once. Its like having two extra phone lines, but without the monthly rental of additional l&-lines. Vo IP calls are typically much lower cost that fixed-line calls, or if youre calling another Vo IP user (who is also using the same Vo IP provider, or SIP compatible) the calls are free. There are many SIP Vo IP providers who can provide pay-as-you-go or monthly calling plans, such as Dray TEL. You can also have your Vo IP accounts registered in more than one location so that the phone rings at home or work, & providers can also provide geographic (or non-geographic) phone numbers for incoming calls. Click on the Vo IP Features tab for more detail. A 4-port Gigabit Ethernet switch on the LAN side provides high speed connectivity for your computers, Network Attached Storage (NAS), Wireless Access Points, or for uplink to a larger Ethernet switch. The Vigor 2762 Vac has ADSL/VDSL support through the DSL (WAN1) port; alternative WAN ports can instead provide connectivity to Ethernet feeds 1, or a 3G/4G modem using a supported USB (Universal Serial Bus) 3G/4G Modem.

Route Policy
- Routing Management for WAN & VPN The Vigor 2766ac provides full policy-based control of where & how outbound traffic is routed with Route Policy, to send traffic through VPN services & alternative LAN gateways: VPN Routing Send all or select traffic through VPN services. Hostname Routing Route access to individual websites, internet domains (i.e. www.bbc.co.uk) & hostnames through a VPN tunnel or a specific WAN. Service Routing Push specific services or ports, such as DNS, through a set WAN, an alternative Gateway or VPN Tunnel. Failover & Failback Extensive control of Failover with multiple Failover rules & paths. Manage how connections are moved back to the primary connection after a failover has occurred with Failback settings. Powerful So Ho VPN Router The Vigor 2766ac features extensive VPN (Virtual Private Networking) capabilities. Its VPN capabilities are well suited to So Ho (small office, home office) environments. A VPN enables you to link remote offices & branch offices back to HQ, or home-based/mobile teleworkers back to your office. The Vigor 2766ac means that you can make full use of Fibre broadband with VPN. Up to 200 Mbps of IPsec VPN throughput for fast & secure connections, to VPN services & other offices. Connect 2 VPN tunnels concurrently to access remote resources securely. Connect the Vigor 2766ac in a branch office or home office to a head office for seamless access to network resources. It supports all common industry standard VPN protocols, for it to connect to VPN services, link remote offices & handle connections from all types of VPN clients. Supporting IPsec IKEv 1 & IKEv 2 protocols with EAP & XAuth authentication, Dray Tek's SSL VPN & L2TP for both LAN to LAN & Dial-In teleworker VPNs. In addition, teleworkers can connect to the router with Open VPN. User management for Dial-In Teleworkers is managed through the router's web interface, with m OTP 2-factor authentication available for IPsec, L2TP & SSL VPN Teleworker connections. Connecting Remote Sites with LAN to LAN VPN Supporting up to 2 concurrently active VPN tunnels & 200 Mbps of IPsec VPN throughput, the Vigor 2766ac is ideal as a branch-office or home-office router, to connect with a head office router such as the Vigor 3910. Once connected, they have access to your office/remote resources through a secure encrypted tunnel allowing remote desktop, file sharing & seamless access to other resources & devices. Dray Tek SSL VPN for Dial-In Teleworkers & LAN to LAN Connect up to 2 Dray Tek SSL VPN tunnels. These encrypted tunnels securely link teleworkers or remote Dray Tek Vigor routers back to your main office using SSL/TLS technology
- similar to the HTTPS security that's used for most secure websites on the internet such as on-line banking & shopping services. Teleworkers can connect with a secure SSL VPN tunnel to the Dray Tek Vigor 2766, using the free Dray Tek Smart VPN Client app. Available for Windows, mac OS, Apple i OS (iPad, iPhone) & Android devices. Connect VPNs from behind NAT with Dray Tek's VPN Matcher A typical requirement for connecting a VPN tunnel between two points is that the VPN server must be directly accessible on the public internet. Sometimes this can be achieved with NAT Port Forwarding if the router is located behind another router, but if the router is connected to 4G Mobile Broadband or is behind Carrier-Grade NAT (CG-NAT), connecting to that VPN server may be impossible. Dray Tek's VPN Matcher service helps Dray Tek routers behind NAT to allow Dial-In Teleworkers to connect, or connect two Dray Tek VPN routers that are behind NAT & could not normally establish a VPN tunnel. AC1300 Wireless LAN with Mesh The Vigor 2766ac provides 802.11ac (Wi Fi 5) simultaneous Dual-Band wireless for fast & efficient wireless connectivity. Multi-User MIMO allows the router to send to more than one device at a time, with each of its antennas streaming data to different devices at once, improving efficiency over standard 802.11ac (Wi Fi 5) wireless & allowing the router to effectively serve more wireless clients. With firmware 4.3.0, the Vigor 2766ac wireless router can be used as part of Dray Tek's Mesh wireless system, allowing the router to work as the Mesh Root, providing internet access & management of Mesh Vigor A Ps directly. Gigabit LAN Ports with VLANs The Vigor 2766ac provides 4 Gigabit LAN ports for wired links to computers, servers & Network Attached Storage. The 4 LAN subnets & VLANs allow the Vigor 2766ac to provide a guest network fully separate from internal network data or any other configuration that can use 4 subnets, whether that's 4 wireless networks with different IP ranges, or a separate LAN subnet for printers & server. Each network can have its own Content Filtering, Firewall, Quality of Service & Route Policy configurations. The router has full support for 802.1Q VLAN tagging, so that these subnets can be passed to other devices that support VLAN tags, such as the Dray Tek Vigor Switch G1080 8-port switch (sold separately), for additional network ports. The Wireless LAN also links to these VLANs, making the same guest & private networks possible simply using different wireless SSIDs. Alternatively, connect up a Dray Tek Vigor AP wireless access point, such as the Vigor AP 903 (sold separately), to do the same, spanning the router's own wireless & any connected wireless APs. Designed for Central Management The Vigor 2766ac can be centrally managed along with Vigor A Ps & switches via the Vigor ACS central management platform. This scalable solution provides visibility, control & reporting of your entire Dray Tek product estate, ideal for dealers/SIs managing customers' devices or any user who wants to know what's going on with their devices. Vigor ACS also provides features like automated/bulk firmware updates, VPN management & alarms for connectivity or other issues. Robust & Comprehensive IPv 4 / IPv 6 Firewall Security is always taken seriously with Dray Tek routers. The firewall protects against attacks including Do S (Denial of Service) attacks, IP-based attacks & access by unauthorised remote systems. Wireless, Ethernet & VPN are also protected by various protection systems. The Dray Tek object-based firewall enables you to create combinations of Firewall rules & Content Filtering to suit a home or small office environment, applying Content Filtering to the whole network, only specified devices or just the network that guests can connect to. The Vigor 2766ac supports both IPv 4 & IPv 6 with Dual-Stack IPv 4/IPv 6. Advanced networking features, such as the object-based Firewall, Quality of Service, Content Filtering & VLANs support both IPv 4 & IPv 6 networks. Web Content Filtering with DNS Filter The content control features of the Vigor 2766ac allow you to set restrictions on web site access, blocking download of certain file or data types, blocking specific web sites with whitelists or blacklists, blocking IM/P2P applications or other potentially harmful or wasteful content. Restrictions can be per user, per PC or universal & according to time schedules. Content filtering can also block sites using HTTPS/SSL where URLs are encrypted (and normal routers cannot block). Using the Global View service, you can block whole categories of web sites (e.g. gambling, adult sites etc.), subject to an annual subscription, which is continuously updated with new or changed site categorisations or sites which have become compromised (such as infected with Malware). A free 30-day trial is included with this router (see accessories tab for compatible Global View licences). Dray DDNS
- Dray Tek Dynamic DNS Address Dray Tek provides a free Dynamic DNS address to each Vigor 2766ac router, allowing you to link the router's current IP address to a memorable "drayddns.com" hostname, such as "vigor 2766.drayddns.com". This address automatically updates whenever the internet connection's IP changes, so if one WAN’s IP address allocation is dynamic, or the IP changes when switching from the primary WAN connection to a backup, you can easily locate & access your Vigor 2766ac router. Just use the hostname to access the router's VPN services, management & any other services you have made accessible through the router. The Vigor 2766ac can also authenticate your Dray DDNS hostname with free SSL/TLS certificates provided by Lets Encrypt. The router manages & automates the certificate process, keeping the certificate up to date & ready for use with SSL VPN & other services. Quality of Service with App Qo S Prioritise latency-sensitive applications on your network with Quality of Service. App Qo S simplifies setting up Quality of Service significantly
- simply select which applications or services to prioritise, such as Zoom & Skype. Use 4 separate queues to give priority to servers & PCs (IP address), services such as Vo IP or DNS, or packet tagging used by IP phones with 802.1p & DSCP support. Multi-Purpose USB (Universal Serial Bus) Ports The Vigor 2766ac has two USB (Universal Serial Bus) ports which can be used for 4G/LTE modem, USB (Universal Serial Bus) temperature sensor, storage, or a printer for shared access (sold separately). Connect a USB (Universal Serial Bus) 4G/LTE modem to the Vigor 2766ac & use mobile broadband as your internet connectivity. That can be your primary connection, or the router can switch over to 4G in the case of ADSL/VDSL/G. Fast outage, so that you're always connected. Use your Vigor 2766ac as a network attached storage (NAS) by connecting a USB (Universal Serial Bus) flash drive or hard drive (not included). With Windows networking (SMB) & FTP connectivity to allow Windows, Apple, Android & Linux devices to access the router's storage, locally & through VPN. Central AP Management The Vigor 2766ac can manage & aid in setting up Vigor AP access points, connected locally to the router. This enables you to centrally control, manage & administer multiple AP devices installed around your home or office, through the router's web interface for local or remote setup: Monitor Status information View Traffic Graphs Provision Wireless Configurations (with Auto Provisioning) Manage Access Control Lists (blacklist / whitelist for wireless client MAC addresses) Track the usage of each AP over time View Event Logs View Temperature Sensor graphs Load Balance APs
- automatically move clients off of busy access points onto nearby, less busy access points Backup & restore AP configurations Perform Vigor AP firmware upgrades remotely through the router The Dray Tek router operating as the wireless controller can provision both Dray Tek Vigor AP access points & its own Wireless LAN settings with Central AP Management profiles configured on the router, with an option to Auto Provision
- auto configuring newly installed Vigor AP access points with the Auto Provisioning profile, upon initial connection to the Dray Tek Vigor router's network.
