From one of Argentinas most well-established vineyards, this Malbec is grown on 80-year-old vines, situated at over 1000m above sea level in the Lujan de Cuyo area of Mendoza. Winemaker Roberto de la Mota is acknowledged as one of Argentinas best. A great expression of Malbec, with powerful aromas of violets, cherries & plums. Over a year in French oak has given polish to the tannins & added a toasty complexity to the raisiny fruit backbone. Drink over the next 8-10 years, ideally with fillet steak.
