Menabrea is the oldest continuously producing brewery in Italy. Five generations of the same family have crafted brilliant beers in the foothills of the Alps mountains since 1846. First generation, Giuseppe Menabrea, discovered a deep underground cave system in Biella. Along with pure, glacial water & abundant clean air, he recognised its incredible potential for brewing. 150 years on, & the company remains on the same site. & it’s about time this Italian household name had equal recognition in the UK. This pale lager has a complex malty & hoppy taste, with a delicious balance of fruity, floral & citrus notes.
