The USB2-PCICOMBO has a USB (Universal Serial Bus) 2.0 & IEEE 1394a (Firewire 400) slot this allows the user to have both USB (Universal Serial Bus) 2.0 & IEEE 1394a connection types on one PCI Card. Running at 480 Mbps the USB (Universal Serial Bus) 2.0 connection is slightly faster than the Firewire connection but both have different uses. The USB2-PCICOMBO houses 2x external & 2x internal USB (Universal Serial Bus) 2.0 ports & 1x 4 pin & 1x 6pin external firewire (IEEE-1394) ports.
