Hand picked & fermented in open top fermenters, the wine was then matured in new & one year old French oak casks (2700L) for 16 months prior to bottling in late May 2012. Bright violet in colour. Fresh savoury spice & lifted red berriy nose with a subtle oak lift. The palate is medium bodied showing soft sweet fruits. The oak enhancing the mid palate which is extended by the fine clean acid structure. A seamless, creamy textured wine in complete balance.
