Red Picota cherry colour, with fine depth. On the nose its high intensity & ripe red fruit & cranberry notes stand out, integrated into a background of spicy & toasted aromas. Entry into the mouth is potent, with a perfect balance between its fine tannic structure & an elegant acidity. Silky, with just a touch of sweetness & rather hedonistic, it has a long drawn out finish that furnishes the wine with constant recall. Ideal to accompany poultry dishes such as, for example, magret of duck in red fruit sauce. It also harmonises well with fish, such as cod, with ratatouille or semi-cured cheeses.
