This light-bodied Pinot delivers fragrant red fruit on the nose with a classic palate of raspberry & red cherry & well-integrated oak. This wine is bright ruby-red with violet highlights. The elegant nose displays fresh raspberries & cherries with subtle touches of smoke & tobacco. The friendly, well-balanced palate has a crisp quality that recalls baked apples, blueberries, & cherries, all complemented by toasted smoky notes from the oak aging. The grapes were hand picked in March & taken to the cellar in small 14kg (31 lb) boxes where they were sorted, gently destemmed, & deposited into stainless steel tanks.
