The Kitterle vineyard was given the nick name Calf-breaker by the local vine growers who worked in the breathtakingly high vineyards on the steep slopes. This volcanic-sandstone plot is on unique site, on a steeply sloping rocky outcrop facing south-west, south & south-east. The light, sandy soil, which need to be retained by huge dry stones walls only gives low yields. 20 ha out of this 26 ha plot belong to Domaines Schlumberger. Tall bottle may not fit in gift boxes.
