Colour: Red Tawny, orange coloured with a touch of green. Nose: Rounded, generous, with a light, balanced, vinous touch. Wood aromas: vanilla & old Port casks. It is of the fruity, tawny type. Palate: Smooth & full bodied on the palate. From an initial unctuousness, there appears a fresh, soft fruit, finishing with a light, acidic, woody note. After taste: The fresh fruit is still noticeable, entangled in the aging process in wood. Good structure & a perfect balance between fruit & alcohol. Made with high quality wines from Quinta de Ervamoira by blending of wines from harvests from different years. The new wines give it the vigour & freshness & the older wines, complexity & pedigree. The characteristic 'nose & palate are a result of the art of the Master of the Tasting Room. Aging: In oak casks. Bottling: 2 months before being put on the market. Predicted longevity: Ready to drink. Serve chilled, as an aperitif. With desserts whose base is dried fruit & orange & egg sweets. Must be served at a temperature of between 16 & 20 degrees C.
