Marka is Norwegian digestive bitter with dandelion, bog myrtle & angelica root. OHD's recipe uses botanicals that grow wild in the nature of the Nordics. Each one is carefully macerated in spirit, under the watchful eye of the blender to determine the perfect point of development of aroma & taste. Each botanical contributes to the natural colour & delicate balance of the spirit. Before bottling a touch of honey is added & a short period of cask maturation to allow the distinctive ?avours of each botanical to marry. Each of the 16 botanicals, a mix of berries, leaves, flowers, roots & stems encompassing Nordic nature, is selected to evoke memories of long summer evenings & Nordic forests in full bloom.
