The 2016 harvest is characterized by its bright, raw-lime colour & greengage glints. This radiant appearance invites us to find on the nose mango, pineapple & lychee hints together with wild flowers & the balsamic notes of eucalyptus. On the palate, its vitality comes through in its fresh saltiness. Its Atlantic character reveals itself through its mineral nuances & the lingering presence of the tropical fruit. The 2016 growth cycle began with heavy rains which favoured the leaf fall, followed by a dry winter with bright, cloudless skies, intensely cold but without frosts. In spring, the high temperatures led to early blossoming & perfect fruit set in June. Summer got us back to the traditional Atlantic weather long sunshine hours followed by constant, light drizzle, which resulted in early ripening.
