Mar De Frades - Albarino Val Do Salnes 2016 75cl Bottle

The 2016 harvest is characterized by its bright, raw-lime colour and greengage glints. This radiant appearance invites us to find on the nose mango, pineapple and lychee hints together with wild flowers and the balsamic notes of eucalyptus. On the palate, its vitality comes through in its fresh saltiness. Its Atlantic character reveals itself through its mineral nuances and the lingering presence of the tropical fruit. The 2016 growth cycle began with heavy rains which favoured the leaf fall, followed by a dry winter with bright, cloudless skies, intensely cold but without frosts. In spring, the high temperatures led to early blossoming and perfect fruit set in June. Summer got us back to the traditional Atlantic weather long sunshine hours followed by constant, light drizzle,
which resulted in early ripening. In Mar de Frades we began to harvest on 10th September with a yield of 7, 500kg of albario grapes with great aromatic potential per hectare.
