Pouilly-Fuisse is an important wine appellation in the Mconnais district of Burgundy. This appellation is restricted to the Chardonnay grape. The richest wines are said to come from Fuisse & Solutre. The domaine now comprises of just over 11 hectares of vineyards that have been passed down from father to son over three generations. Domaine Ferrand is situated in the village of Solutre-Pouilly in the heart of the Pouilly Fuisse appellation of southern Burgundy. The wine goes through malolactic fermentation. The wine is blended & filtered. Bottling takes place twice a year in April & September.
