Developed initially as a Strategic Long-Range Bomber, the Tu-95 was one of the most unique military aircraft. The Tu-95 R Ts (NATO designation " Bear" D) variant was developed for the Soviet Navy between 1959 & 1962 for use in the roles of electronic reconnaissance & target tracking of aircraft, surface ships & submarines. Mass production began in 1963 & from 1966 onwards the aircraft

- were an integral part of the Navy's Inter-Continental Missile Attack System. Regular flights over the Atlantic & Pacific Oceans enabled an almost continuous surveillance & tracking of NATO Maritime Units as well as the ships of other Navy's. For over three decades the Tu-95 R Ts was an Icon of the " Cold War" due to its frequent presence within the vicinity of NATO Maritime Units. This is a Revell 1:24 scale model kit of a Ferrari California (open top), since 1945 Revell has been one of the the leaders in plastic model kits. The kit designers are passionate about scale model authenticity & model building. The Revell Ferrari California Open Top in 1/24 scale from the plastic car models range accurately recreates the real life Italian sports car. This plastic car kit requires paint & glue to complete. Early 2007 different speculations on a V8-model emerged from Modena but they didn't even come close to the new 8-cylinder model.
