The NH90 is the standard NATO helicopter for the 21st century. It contributes to a great extent to the interoperability of the armed forces of the European & allied nations abroad, within the framework of NATO & UN missions. On 13th December 2006 the first three tactical transport helicopters of the latest generation, the NH90 TTH, were handed over to the Federal German armed forces at the Eurocopter Works at Donauw?rth. Developed initially as a Strategic Long-Range Bomber, the Tu-95 was one of the most unique military aircraft. The Tu-95 R Ts (NATO designation " Bear" D) variant was developed for the Soviet Navy between 1959 & 1962 for use in the roles of electronic reconnaissance & target tracking of aircraft, surface ships & submarines. This is a Revell 1:24 scale model kit of a Ferrari California (open top), since 1945 Revell has been one of the the leaders in plastic model kits. The kit designers are passionate about scale model authenticity & model building. The Revell Ferrari California Open Top in 1/24 scale from the plastic car models range accurately recreates the real life Italian sports car. This plastic car kit requires paint & glue to complete. Early 2007 different speculations on a V8-model emerged from Modena but they didn't even come close to the new 8-cylinder model. The German Commando Special Forces (KSK) officially went into service on 20th September 1996. The task of the KSK, in addition to the execution of long-distance reconnaissance missions & combat behind enemy lines, is defence against terrorist threats within the terms of engagement of the forces & the release of hostages within the framework of evacuation missions. The KSK, which is 1000 soldiers strong, comprises four commando companies & one long-distance reconnaissance company. After missions to capture war criminals in Bosnia & Kosovo, there were latterly over 100 KSK troops involved in seeking out Al' Qaida terrorists in Afghanistan.
