Macallan Edition Number 3 Single Malt Scotch Whisky - 70cl 48.3%
The Macallan Edition 3 is created in order to focus on the structure of the distillery's trademark weighty style, as well as celebrating the opening of Macallan's incredible new distillery. It is a well-balanced dram, assembled to show the best of each cask type selected to create the whisky: European and American oak refill butts and hogsheads, as well as butts, puncheons and hogsheads specifically from Vasmya, Diego Martin, Jose y Miguel Martin and Tevasa. Nose: Delightfully sweet, warm honey with cinnamon and maple syrup. Sweet butter and citrus orange. Rather elegant. Palate: Velvety soft, heather honey, sweet toffee and fudge. A tang of citrus, ginger and zesty lemon juice. Herbal notes, bergamot oil, sage and thyme. Finish: A long finish, warming and spicy, cinnamon and
