The second in an annual series of Macallan limited editions, this Speyside Single Malt is a the fruit of a creative partnership between Bob Dalgarno, Whisky Maker at The Macallan, & the Roca brothers of restaurant, El Celler de Can Roca, in Catalonia. Nose: Mocha, brown sugar, a spark of ginger & some oaky warmth. Palate: Sherried raisins & dried citrus peels develop, a hint of oak & a little chocolate. Finish: Spiced fruit cake & lemon peels.
