Finished in fine, aged Madeira wine casks from an independent island winery dating back to 1850 they named this expression, Glenfiddich Age of Discovery. An earthy, bright whisky with a warmth that fades to long sweetness. The first time Glenfiddich used Madeira casks for incredible, rich depth. Spicy honey top notes are well balanced, maintaining the softness of a liqueur but the malty depth of a whisky. Best enjoyed on the rocks. Nose: Spices, honey, fruity, sweet but not too sweet.
