This delightful bottle from Bowmore is produced using single malt Scotch whisky drawn exclusively from first-fill bourbon casks, it has sweet and light taste and nose whilst simultaneously incorporating the robust peaty smoke that Bowmore is famous for. Nose: Vanilla, apple and grapes mostly with a sprinkle of sea salt. The nose is fresh and accessible. Palate: Fresh and sweet, waxy and peaty. Tropical notes are subtly there with a whiff of vanilla flitting here and there. Finish: Medium finish, with vanilla and peat smoke.
