A stunning, single cask offering from Braeval distillery, aged for 16 years in a single cask 5116. Distilled in the year 2000 and bottled up in 2017, plenty of cask influence from the 2nd fill hogshead used, a beautiful Speyside dram that we don't often see as an official release. Only 288 bottles have been released as part of The Distillery Reserve Collection by Chivas Regal. Nose: Refreshing, with notes of blueberry and strawberry up front. Palate: Spice beginning to take shape, with crushed pepper, nutmeg and cardamom - fruity!Finish: Lingering brown sugar - delicious!
