In the crafting of the Balvenie Rum Cask aged 17 years, Balvenie matured exclusively in traditional whisky casks was transferred to barrels shipped from Jamaica which had previously held sweet rum. Released in batches, each bottle is one of no more than 300, drawn from a single cask, all of which are refill American oak casks.
