Caol Ila Feis Ile 2015 (1998) Single Malt Whisky

This Caol Ila was distilled in 1998 and matured in American oak, Moscatel casks and finally old Sherry puncheons, the 2015 Fèis Ìle Caol Ila bottling was bottled at a natural cask strength of 57.3% abv. Nose: Warming citrus, star anise, Malmsey and sweet peat. Palate: Great entry, earthy and smoky, becoming much more vinous. Finish: Pepper, red fruit and dark spice.
