UNION ASYMBOL SNOWBOARD BINDINGS 2017
The Asymbol collaboration has featured a few times from the Union Custom House always on a good stong binding with a limited edition artist graphic. This year features art from Adam Haynes, here is what Travis Rice one of the companies founders and uber pro snowboarded had to say about the artist:
''Selecting the right artist for our binding collab with Union presents an interesting challenge. With so many great artists in the Asymbol family, it’s hard to narrow it down to just one. It had to be someone whose artistic style and capability translated off the canvas. Someone who could work under pressure to deliver a great design that functioned as well as it looked. And it wouldn’t hurt if they’d taken home a famed Gold Duct Tape award at
the Mt. Baker Legendary Banked Slalom… With that, we proudly present the limited-edition 2016/17 Asymbol x Union collab binding, designed by Adam Haynes. Adam calls Bend, Oregon home, and spends as much time in the backcountry as he does in his studio. Adam’s artwork conveys a deep sense of respect for the mountains and the culture of riding them. On these bindings, Adam’s art represents our connection to a winter landscape of trees and snow and sky. These bindings aren’t just for show. Adam is a seriously demanding rider, and these bindings deliver ultra high-performance through their strong, lightweight and responsive design.
