Waterproof & tear-resistant topographic survey map of Algonquin Park at 1:250, 000 from ITMB, with an 1:50, 000 enlargement of the Haliburton County & Nipissing District on the reverse. Both maps show highways with differentiation of the number of lanes indicated, loose surface roads, cart tracks, & trails are marked. Points of interest are highlighted such as camp sites, snowmobiling areas, viewpoints, RV areas, downhill & cross country skiing, & portage points along rivers. Contour lines at 50m intervals denote topography. Each map has a UTM grid & margin ticks for latitude & longitude

The map is double-sided, covering this oldest provincial park in Canada in two sections. Contours are at 20m interval with additional relief shading. Very detailed grading of the road network

Includes:: logging roads & classification for 2WD or 4WD. Long distance hiking trails are highlighted & other trails, including snowmobile routes, are marked.
