- Olimex A20-OLINUXINO-MICRO, The Olimex A20-Olinuxino-Micro single board computer is an extremely capable, small footprint device with a dual core CPU. Internally it has 1GB of DDR3 RAM, 2KB of EEPROM & a Mali 400 GPU, but it is its external connectivity that makes this board so special. The list of ports is extensive but the highlights are HDMI, SATA, Ethernet, 2 x USB (Universal Serial Bus) plus 1 x USB (Universal Serial Bus)-OTG, 160 GPIO pins, an LCD interface & an SD card slot. As you would expect many of the GPIO pins have additional specialist functions with interfaces for 2 x cameras (CSIO), UARTS, SPI, IR, touch panel, I2S, PWM, audio & more. In all departments it compares favourably to the Raspberry Pi with a faster CPU, hardware 3D acceleration & considerably more IO functionality. It can be made into a complete small footprint computer or kiosk computer with Linux, a hard disk, keyboard & mouse & HD display. Alternatively it could be used as the controller in an embedded system for robotics, photography, web serving etc.. Another version is available which has 4GB of NAND flash memory which comes with Android pre-loaded (73-0226).
