DESCRIPTION BCAA powder consists of three essential amino acids with a branched chain: L-leucine, L-isoleucine & L-valine. The abbreviation BCAA stands for Branched Chain Amino Acids. These three amino acids are especially important for the proper functioning of the immune, nervous & muscular systems. BCAAs are good for taking care of severely strained muscles. BCAAs are a structural component of muscle tissue; about 30% of the proteins in muscle tissue consists of BCAA. They also support the energy metabolism within the muscles.
