Meerkat Experience For Two
The nation seems to have gone wild about meerkats lately perhaps partly due to a certain television advert that features the little creatures as comical superstars. Originating from Africa, these fascinating animals are famous for their upright stance often on high alert watching out for predators and guarding their young.If you want to get up close and personal to these amazing animals, then the Meerkat Experience For Two could be the perfect opportunity to learn more about these furry friends. This experience enables you and a friend to spend the day at a dedicated sanctuary meeting it's resident meerkats and even getting the chance to feed them.
Typical ProgrammeOn arrival you will take part in a health and safety briefing before entering the meerkat enclosure. A meerkat specialist
will be on hand to teach you everything you need to know about the animals whilst you have the chance to feed them with fruit and meal worms. As well as experiencing this amazing encounter with the meerkats, you will also have the opportunity to visit the rest of the Reptile and Meerkat Experience which includes 50 exhibits of snakes, lizards, turtles, amphibians and mini beasts. For an additional small fee, you can even visit the Raptor Foundation which provides rescue and rehabilitation services as well as 24 hour care for injured raptors. Duration & Group Size The experience in the Meerkat enclosure lasts 30 minutes but you can spend as much time as you'd like visiting the other exhibits and the Raptor Foundation if you wish. This experience is for two people. It will be
just you, the keeper and the meerkats in the enclosure. Friends and family are welcome to come along and watch however they will have to pay a small fee to enter the sanctuary. Fitness Requirements There are no fitness requirements for this experience. We recommend that you wear trousers, enclosed footwear and clothes that you don't mind getting dirty! Minimum Age You must be 8 years old to take part in this experience. Locations & Availability The Meerkat Experience can be enjoyed Monday - Sunday throughout the year, subject to availability.This experience is currently in one location: Cambridgeshire - Woodhurst.Expiry: The experience day gift pack voucher must be redeemed and used within the 12 month validity period.
