Originating from Africa, these fascinating animals are famous for their upright stance often on high alert watching out for predators & guarding their young. If you want to get up close & personal to these amazing animals, then the Meerkat Experience For Two could be the perfect opportunity to learn more about these furry friends. This experience enables you & a friend to spend the day at a dedicated sanctuary meeting it's resident meerkats & even getting the chance to feed them. Typical Programme On arrival you will take part in a health & safety briefing before entering the meerkat enclosure. A meerkat specialist will be on hand to teach you everything you need to know about the animals whilst you have the chance to feed them with fruit & meal worms. As well as experiencing this amazing encounter with the meerkats, you will also have the opportunity to visit the rest of the Reptile & Meerkat Experience which

Includes:: 50 exhibits of snakes, lizards, turtles, amphibians & mini beasts. For an additional small fee, you can even visit the Raptor Foundation which provides rescue & rehabilitation services as well as 24 hour care for injured raptors. Duration & Group Size The experience in the Meerkat enclosure lasts 30 minutes but you can spend as much time as you'd like visiting the other exhibits & the Raptor Foundation if you wish. This experience is for two people. It will be just you, the keeper & the meerkats in the enclosure. Friends & family are welcome to come along & watch however they will have to pay a small fee to enter the sanctuary. Fitness Requirements There are no fitness requirements for this experience. We recommend that you wear trousers, enclosed footwear & clothes that you don't mind getting dirty! Minimum Age You must be 8 years old to take part in this experience.
